<p>Jurnal Penelitian dan Kajian Ilmiah Kesehatan Politeknik Medica Farma Husada Mataram adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) Politeknik Medica Farma Husada Mataram sejak tahun 2015 dengan pISSN <a href="https://issn.brin.go.id/terbit/detail/1412995773" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2407-8603</a> dan eISSN <a href="https://issn.brin.go.id/terbit/detail/1475034920" target="_blank" rel="noopener">2541-1128</a>. Jurnal Penelitian dan Kajian Ilmiah Kesehatan Politeknik Medica Farma Husada Mataram menerima karya tulis ilmiah berupa laporan penelitian (original research paper) dengan fokus pada perkembangan permasalahan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, termasuk perkembangan dan permasalahan pokok di bidang epidemiologi; Promosi kesehatan; Kesehatan Lingkungan, Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, Administrasi dan Kebijakan Kesehatan, Kesehatan Reproduksi, Manajemen Rumah Sakit, Ilmu Gizi, Sistem Informasi Kesehatan di Indonesia. Jurnal Penelitian dan Kajian Ilmiah Kesehatan Politeknik Medica Farma Husada Mataram bekerja sama dengan Relawan Jurnal Indonesia (RJI) dalam membantu kemajuan publikasi karya ilmiah dan diseminasi hasil penelitian. <p>The taro plant is a minor tuber plant that can be used as a food crop and is a type of monocot plant that is often cultivated in tropical areas. The fungus Candida albicans is a normal flora that is mostly found on the skin, mucous membranes, oral cavity, digestive tract, respiratory tract. One approach that is considered effective for testing the antifungal activity of taro leaf extract against Candida albicans. This article aims to review the role and potential antifungal activity of taro leaf extract against Candida albicans. The method used is a literature review which includes various relevant research and policy documents. The results show that the taro plant is a plant that has potential as a herbal medicine because it contains secondary metabolite compounds. Apart from flavonoids, the taro plant also contains saponins, alkaloids, aanines and steroids. In addition, an ideal antifungal must inhibit the growth of fungi (fungistatic) and kill fungi (fungicide). Topical drugs used to treat candidiasis are Ketoconazole, Clotrimazole, Miconazole, Nystatin, and others. In conclusion, the antifungal activity of taro leaf extract is very important to create a sustainable inhibitor of the growth of the Candida albicans fungus that is relevant to the social-ecological context.</p>Nur Intan

<p>A hospital has an obligation to organize an electronic medical record to support health service efforts as PMK No. 24 in 2022 about Medical Records. The important role of medical records is as to measurement of quality indicators of health service in a hospital. The indicator that would be measured in medical records is the completeness of medical record forms, have fulfilled legal requirements, on time, and the accuracy. Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital have organized medical records for inpatients in 2022 still used manual medical records, because of that, to preparing the electronic medical records for inpatients then it is needed to make an application instrument planning that could analyze the completeness of inpatient medical records as the control of the quality of electronic medical records. The aim of this research is designing an application instrument of the completeness of the electronic inpatient medical records in Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital. The concept of the design was used as a Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The technique of collecting data was done by field observation, study documentation, and interview. The technique of testing and evaluation system used by Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The prototype application design for analyzing the completeness of electronic medical records aligned with the needs analysis and could be used to assess and display the results and percentage of completeness of the electronic medical records. The results of the system evaluation by users were acceptable, approved, and agreed upon, indicating that the application could represent the quality of electronic medical record content and had the potential to be implemented in hospitals. The results of the prototype application for analyzing electronic medical records, based on user evaluations, were appropriate for the data requirements and could generate a report as output that reflects the quality of the electronic medical record content.</p>Arina SalsabilaAngga Eko Pramono

<p>Maternal food choices are important determinants of toddlers’ dietary quality and nutritional status. Maternal characteristics, such as education, nutritional knowledge, and household income, may influence the motives underlying food selection for children. However, evidence on this relationship remains limited in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between maternal characteristics and food choice motives among mothers of toddlers in Pagesangan Timur Village, Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara. A mixed-method study with a cross-sectional quantitative design supported by qualitative data was conducted among 50 mothers of toddlers aged 12–59 months selected through simple random sampling. Quantitative data were collected using structured questionnaires, while qualitative data were obtained through observations and in-depth interviews. Spearman’s rank correlation test was used to analyze the relationship between maternal characteristics and food choice motives. Most respondents were housewives (76%), aged 31–35 years (34%), and had completed senior high school education (48%). The majority had moderate food consumption frequency (72%) and dietary diversity (80%). Spearman correlation analysis showed very weak relationships between maternal characteristics and food choice motives. Nutritional knowledge (r=0.087; p=0.546), education (r=-0.115; p=0.422), and household income (r=0.073; p=0.061) were not significantly associated with food choice motives (p>0.05). <p>Minyak curah merupakan produk turunan minyak kelapa sawit (<em>Crude Palm Oils</em>/CPO). Minyak curah merupakan minyak tidak murni, seperti minyak goreng dalam kemasan premium dengan merek ternama. Minyak goreng curah merupakan minyak sawit yang sudah melalui tahap pemurnian (refining), pemutihan (bleaching), dan penghilangan bau (deodorizing). Pemakaian minyak goreng dalam pengolahan bahan pangan sudah umum dilakukan oleh masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat pengaruh pemberian ekstrak kulit nanas pada minyak goreng curah. Zat antioksidan yang dikenal ada 2 yaitu antioksidan alami dan antioksidan sintetik. Penggunaan antioksidan sintetik seperti dalam jangka waktu yang panjang dapat menimbulkan akibat buruk terhadap kesehatan manusia yaitu gangguan fungsi hati, paru, mukosa usus dan keracunan. Antioksidan alami adalah antioksidan hasil ekstraksi bahan alami tumbuhan maupun mikroba. Salah satu tumbuhan yang dikenal sebagai tumbuhan yang berpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai antioksidan alami adalah kulit nanas. Kandungan kimia yang terdapat pada kulit nanas bromelin, flavonoid, tannin. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak kulit nanas terhadap bilangan peroksida pada minyak goreng curah dengan variasi konsentrasi 100%,75%,50% dan 25%. Jenis desain penelitian ini yaitu <em>Experiment. </em>Analisis data menggunakan <em>Uji Kruskal-Wallis</em>. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah ekstrak kulit nanas dapat menghambat kenaikan bilangan peroksida. Kosentrasi ekstrak kulit nanas paling bagus untuk menghambat kenaikan bilangan peroksida adalah dengan kosentrasi 25%.</p>Roushandy Asri FardaniNofi Desita Safitri
